The prices are very expensive for what you get. Food is not really tasty and the ingredients are not from a good quality Go away from this place if you are looking for restaurants with regional food
The food and drinks are totally overprized. The Tortellini had hairs in it and the ceaser salat consisted only of one sort of salat and the meat was overcooked. The food wasn‘t worth any of the money we paid.
This restaurant really delivers with well prepared and delicious meals. It is rather large, but elegant and intimate at the same time. We had regional dishes since it was our first night in Tuscany and found them to be well seasoned and skillfully prepared. We enjoyed a wonderful dessert and post dinner grappa. It was a memorable meal, although with all the extras, a little expensive.
The pasta carbonara was dry, didn't have enough ham and the few pieces it did have were 50% fat. Unfortunately the nizzarda salad wasn't much better. Basically some vegetables thrown next to each other without much done to it. It's quite clear the high prices at this restaurant aren't for the food but for the location instead.
Beware. €5.50 for a coke. Really expensive. The food is just not up to that pricing standard. Small portions and incorrectly cooked. Hard pasta, under cooked steak. Much nicer places to eat on the square.
