Monterey Fish Co

This is an awesome place to get your fresh seafood. It doesn't get much better on CONUS.

They had the absolute worst clam chowder I have ever had in my life. It was all runny with no flavor. I didn’t even taste any clams.

The only fish market I found fresh anchovies in the South Bay so far.

We received some squid for our summer science schools kids! We isolated some bioluminescent bacteria from it and we wanted to send a thank you to all the staff for being so generous!(I also bought some fish that was delish)

We wanted to shop here, but we couldn't, as Monterey Fish Company requires masks to be worn (even now). Yes, it's their right to do so, but this was the single California business which required masks in the five days we were in town. I didn't have a mask with me, so I could not enter. I would have appreciated some disposable masks being available to customers if this is their requirement.
