I don't know what these people want with a complimentary appetizer albeit not large it was tasty, crispy, and free. Prices are comparable to the area we were in. Bottom line don't visit if you don't understand that fact. Everyone was nice, the lady out front laughed and chatted us up per her job. I'd say stop by and try it out, the foods not bad the atmosphere is a window into the past. Don't be afraid to be human. It's been forever since I visited, it's like a nostalgic ride into yesteryear for me. I hope everyone enjoys the time here, don't sweat the small stuff live life and have a good time.
I don't think I have ever given a 1 star review before but you really need to know what you are getting. The lady advertising free calamari with our meal may have meant well, but we literally got 5 little pieces for four people. Right after we ordered another waitress came over and moved us to another table and gave another party our table. Had we not already ordered we would have left. She was not nice about it at all...the people who got our table were embarrassed and apologized. Our waitress was very put out that we only ordered two entrees and two cups of soup. VERY over priced and low quality. When the check came the gratuity was already added way higher than deserved. Overall it was a terrible experience.
The Seafood Service was Excellent. They should have 5 Stars. Our Waiter treated Our Dog like a Customer and brought Her a treat of Bacon, She Loved it.Thank You Very Much, Bob, Sally SugarFood: 5/5
My fiancé and I went here for dinner and we got a table from the front lady hostess. We were served by a very nice waiter and the owner and they were on top of everything. We ordered a salmon Alfredo and one of there seafood specials and we have to say the food was very good. The salmon had good flavor and was fresh. My fiancés crab, mussels, clams, salmon and shrimp dish was very good and flavorful. The mussels were thankfully fresh as the mussels we had the night before at a different restaurant were rancid. The only thing that could have been better was the Alfredo pasta. While it was good and not bad at all, the sauce could have used a little more kick to it, but the pasta was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was a little crammed and a little old, but it was not as bad as the reviews are saying. It’s a little place and you can only do so much! So it was clean and good and that’s all we need.Overall, we really enjoyed the food and don’t understand the bad reviews! Our experience was really good and would come back for sure! Thank you Mr Louie!
I was initially attracted to considering Crab Louie 's by the enthusiastic greeter hailing us passersby. I checked the menu and noticed they had Sand Dabs. I was looking for a light, whitefish, and the lady confirmed that this was that. The restaurant is L-shaped with about a dozen tables. It is quaint and friendly. The food was great. My initial meal of Sand Dabs has catapulted it to one of my favorite fish, and I look forward to having it again. The servers were friendly and attentive, and the price was reasonable. They have a short and complete wine menu. I look forward to dining at Crab Louie 's again.
