We ordered 2 chivo(goat) meals, one order of chuletas, one order of octopus and an order of Bistec(steak) meal. Took about 1 hr to get food out. Due to the covid-19 situation, we were understanding and had about 5 presidents while waiting. Only complaint was that one of the orders of chivo was all bones and no meat. While other chivo silver was filled with chivo meat and couple bones. Mentioned it to waitress and she said she could not do much. So went and spoke to a woman and man that were supposed to be management. I expressed that I was not paying for the chivo bones. They kept telling the waitress to take care of it. I asked them that normally management resolves these types of problems. This is experience from owning a few restaurants. They offered to give us a discount of 2 beers in exchange. The food is good, but make sure you get what you order. Four friends and I went to eat something at the restaurant. We order 2 chivo meals, a chop order, an octopus order and a Bistec food order. It took about 1 hour to get the food out. Due to the situation of the covid-19, we understood and took about 5 presidents while we waited. The only complaint was that one of the orders of goat was all bones and no meat. While the other dish of goat was full of goose meat and a couple of bones. She mentioned it to the waitress and she said she couldn't do much. So he went and talked to a woman and a man who was supposed to be management. I said I wasn't paying for the goose bones. They kept telling the waitress to take care of it. I asked them that management usually solves this kind of problem. This is because of the experience of having some restaurants. They offered to give us a discount of 2 beers in return. Food is good, but make sure you get what you ask.
Location is great due to the beach being across the street and the price is fair. Employees are respectful, professional, and friendly. However, I did not see anyone wearing masks, only one employee who brought out the breakfast. Also, food is noticeably cooked by inexperienced and/or untrained personnel. The bathrooms by the pool are rarely cleaned. Pipe in bathroom was leaking, paper dispenser in bathroom was empty, AC rattled, blanket on bed appeared dirty (maybe just old but cleaned). Overall, the place needs some serious remodeling. A rating of 2 is probably more fitting, but the employees' made the stay bearable. They are an amazing crew.
We’ve only eaten at the restaurant so review is only for that part: Great location and spacious, reasonable priced and actually not bad food. However, with current situation about the virus and cleaning the place they should’ve done much better work. There was only one more group aside of ours at the restaurant (they were drinking mostly, no food, from what we saw) but dining area had trash everywhere, empty plastic bottles on the floor. Service could be a bit quicker too though. Not the perfect place but I’d probably go back there for drinks again.
Food and drinks are fantastic, but they don't take care of their swamp, which causes mosquitoes to ruin your trip. Even the rooms have mosquitos, no hot water. The morning receptionist is rude, but the night one is an incredible person; she helped with our taxi.
The location is very good. Good breakfast and attention. It's clean. The atmospheres are pleasant. Good value for money. The smell and mosquitoes must improve. Service: Dining in type of food: Breakfast
