A pitiful service We arrived shortly before 8pm for our reservation. To our great surprise our table of 6 had not been erected: A group of 6 had arrived before and had not been booked (not confirmed its resa), so they took our table and we were placed in a unpleasant way just between the input and the output of the servers, a pleasure to be in the passage. The weather was heavy, so we looked forward to the famous table of 6: it was super placed in front of the garden, we lost in the back of the room. Amer, we waited. Everything got piled up later... The waitress who is happy to have finally managed to find 2 drinks cards for 6. The other tables that are being served, we who are still waiting and tjrs for half an hour... And when we finally decide to ask a waitress if we can, would be what to drink. Not even the time to formulate our question, we are told that it is not possible, we will be served. And the reason? Because a table of 6 was grafted in the last minute. So the restaurant puts priority on a group that didn't book A disappointment at the service level. Not professionalism. The bistronomers of the week, not all had a very refined cuisine, but at no time did they present a quality of service below their quality of food. On the contrary. It is unhappy to compare a gastronomic to bistronomers, but I don't have any other words for a gourmet restaurant that mediocre and amaturism. Excellent dishes for a very original culinary discovery. But the watercolor between the gastronomy and the service was, this evening, the day and the night. Thank you for this journey of meanings, thanks for this disappointment that ran our stay.
No need to look, you won't find better around Périgueux. Everything is perfect. From the reception, to the accompanying dishes and wines, to the small attentions.
It was an exceptional moment, a true journey in the heart of unexpected flavours... The agreement meets and wines are perfect until the end, allowing us to discover unfamiliar wines. An exceptional adventure has lived at least once in his life. Thanks to the whole team.
Extremely shocked by the way we were summoned to release the room, since it appeared around 3 p.m. we risk to cross the evening service ... damaging, original cooking
