Sushi Vip - Montclair

The food here is absolutely fantastic! I used to visit this place even before it became VIP Sushi.

I rated it 4 stars because it's decent sushi from a strip mall at a great price. Just to be clear, it's not Nobu, Morimoto, or Nakazawa. If you're looking for authentic sushi in this area, head over to Ken's on foot.

The staff was very attentive, and the sushi was quite good with a great variety. While it wasn't the best I've ever had, it was definitely enjoyable. The interior is quite small, though.

Really cool local neighborhood sushi spot, first I went for lunch had the sushi platter appetizer and the yellow **** collar, both perfectly made the sashimi platter beautiful arranged the fish was fresh and cut exactly right. loved the presentation! Yellowtail collar was cooked to the perfect consistency meat wasl moist meerte exactly right. The staff was perfectly very attentive Quick Service beautiful Melow atmosphere will be back with the family.

I came here last night for the first time. And the food was really good. And got served quickly. Our main waitress wasn't great. Didnt bring my friend her drink and never came back to tend to our table. But luckily the other two waiters there were very apologetic and helpful. Even have my friend extra wine for the inconvenience.
