La Fin Kitchen Lounge - MONTAUK

I used to work as a bartender at this restaurant, and I had a negative experience there. One of the chefs, named Joe, was racist. When I spoke to the manager, who was Spanish, he didn’t take my claims seriously. Additionally, the two female bartenders often got drunk, and I ended up having to cover for them when they forgot to charge customers. I would never want to work with them again.

If you can afford to eat here then you can afford to live here. No thanks this is for the elite Not for the people who used to live there when it was a fishing village

This restaurant is fantastic and situated in a perfect location. The food is exquisite and the staff is outstanding. The seafood is fresh and beautifully presented. We attended a wedding welcome party here, and it was truly a wonderful experience. Hagan, the manager, was exceptional; she went above and beyond to make sure everyone had everything they needed. Each staff member showed genuine care for our experience. We will definitely return. Great job all around!

I absolutely adored this restaurant! The whipped mozzarella and tomatoes were incredibly fresh and sourced locally, while the mussels and fries were phenomenal. Our waiter, Ozzy, was very attentive and quick with his check-ins. I will definitely be returning!

What has happened to La Fin? Back in 2021, it was a must-visit spot with fantastic food and a lively atmosphere. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. It feels like the chef has left, and the new staff is struggling to recreate the original recipes. The once-popular cauliflower flatbread has turned into a mushy pile of veggies, and the eggplant meatballs, which used to be delicious, now crumble into a messy sauce. The seafood also had an unusual taste—hard to tell if it was off or just not fresh. I would recommend skipping La Fin; with these prices, there are plenty of better options available.
