Without thinking, my husband started to open his beer when an employee aggressively intervened by placing his hand on the can and forcefully pushed the tab down, telling us in a rude manner that opening it was not allowed. We were taken aback by the guard's behavior, and feeling unwelcome, we quickly decided to leave. Unfortunately, my husband ended up with an open container when we stepped outside, and he had to pour out the beer before we could go back in—essentially wasting what was an expensive drink. Who would want to drink a beer after a stranger has touched it? This wasn't our first visit, and in the past, we've even recommended this place to friends, but now we feel compelled to share this negative experience. It seemed like the rules weren't clearly communicated, and the guard's overzealous attitude was completely out of line. If he hadn't been so rude and if there had been clearer instructions, we might have understood the situation better and avoided this awkward encounter. To make matters worse, this whole incident took place on Father's Day weekend! We are definitely reconsidering any future visits to this establishment.
Great selection of beers! The brewery is housed in a unique old industrial space. They offer flights, pourers, and cans featuring a variety of interesting styles (not just IPAs). There are tables to relax and enjoy your drinks, and you’re welcome to bring your own snacks or food.
This restaurant is located in a quaint old mill town in Western Massachusetts, and I’m fortunate to have grown up nearby, allowing me to discover this hidden gem. As a beer enthusiast, I've sampled many of the best brews in the US, and I can't stop raving about their New England Style IPA, In Absentia. However, I must say that all the beers here are impressive—something I can't say for any other brewery I've visited. They’re also dog-friendly and allow you to bring your own food. While their hours are limited, they now offer cans to go. Enjoy your visit!
Small brewery...fantastic beers. Think Treehouse without the lines. If you appreciate top notch craft beer, then this is a must stop. Every time I travel between Albany and Boston I have to stop by.. the beer is that good! I wish they were closer to my home.
Brick and Feather doesn't have expansive hours, but it is worth planning your trip so you'll have a chance to stop in. The beer is delicious, the staff is great and the atmosphere and bright and fun. We were thrilled to visit and cannot wait to return!
