Generous pancakes and waffles in walnut drinks arrive before pancakes

On a Monday night in early season we actually struggled to find food anywhere in town Mont Dore is not the gastro capital of Europe but as this place was open and relatively busy we tried it. We had good service from a hard pressed couple of guys, and food was not bad at all. Fairly simple but hot, fresh and tasty. Really this is more of a cafe than a restaurant but none the worse for that. If you need something quick and relatively cheap then give it a go. They have nice tables outside too if the weather is good enough.

Good restaurant although a little expensive but we are in the middle of Mont Dore. The waitress is friendly and competent. The toilets are a little dirty but that's more the fault of the customers than the managers. The 5 of us were lucky enough to have a large table and to eat a small snack.

I'm ordering a crêpe. I get an ice cream, okay, the manager's gonna come back and tell me you didn't get your pancake? I'll do it!

Only restaurant open at 2 p.m. in the area. Quick and efficient service. Good address for good cakes and salads.
