Then we checked the availability of a table by phone and led to it. The restaurant is quite isolated on the level. The day was quite windy, but the table, outdoors, was protected by screens, so our stay was pleasant. But even more pleasant was the food: the first course we both chose, the pappardial type of pasta with white ragù, ie without tomatoes of “cinta senese” a local type of pork, was delicious. As a main dish I chose fried duck breast, my wife chose a dish that was presented on the menu as an appetizer, but it was plentiful: Moscardino, that is small squid in a sauce reminds of the typical cacciucco seafood dish from Livorno. We completed our meal by a bottle of good local red wine and two coffee, at a cost of 60 euros. For two, a very reasonable price. A highly recommended accommodation.
I'm Italian, but I'm going abroad. I came with my husband who is a carnivore and LOVED the Bistecca, I had a risotto and it was also delicious. Staff super attentive and fast. Very good prices. Dear tha live music and the ambience I RECOMMEND!
Very good restaurant, rustic old farmhouse, good fire grilled meat, good Tuscan wine, good service, excellent value.
