Restaurante O Caracol - Monsanto

We only discovered this place this year and we returned three times because it was so good. We chose this place to eat dinner on our last night in Portugal. The food is amazing, the service a step above others and I would say it is one of the most classy places I eat at when I visit Portugal each year. I can't wait to return next year and I already know the dish I want, as I saw it being served at the next table and it looked so good.

Fuimos de casualidad al salir de ver la cuevas, está bastante apartado, tienes q ir a propósito. Llegamos tarde, a las 15:30 y nos atendieron sin problema, servicio rápido, la camarera muy amable y la comida estaba muy buenay abundante. Probamos los caracoles que es su especialidad, no nos gustaron y creo q es sobre todo porque nosotros no estamos acostumbrados a ese tipo de comida pero lo que es la salsa y habas que venian con ellos está bueno. Limited menu, but very nice food. It's good quality and there's a lovely view outside. The food is yummy, so make sure to stop by if you're looking for a local Portuguese restaurant!
