They ate the corn dog bites and steak fries. We wish they had traditional fries as they eat that was much better but they did OK with them. They did not like the mac cheese as it was too cheesy and you can't make it less cheesy. They do only eat Kraft mac cheese but not the cheesy kind like this. The chicken tenders went over well. I got the barbecue chicken pizza which was good and my wife had a delicious meal as well. I cannot remember now what she got. Our server who is a college student was very friendly. She did a wonderful job! It was a nice atmosphere and they were not too many distractions. Hopefully we will be back soon!
This Red Robin has been closed for over a year and only recently reopened. It should have stayed closed. Service: This was the most bizarre service I 've ever had at a restaurant. When we first walked in, the guy at the hostess stand was wearing a hoodie and just leaning on the stand talking to his friend. I thought they were customers until he asked if there were two of us. Then the friend (also in a hoodie and wearing a backpack) showed us to a table. Our server was dressed more like an employee, but it was still weird. When she came to our table, she pulled out a chair and sat down at our table to take our order. That was really weird. The music was loud. Too loud for a restaurant where people are trying to have a casual conversation with friends or family. We had problems hearing each other. Food: The mozzarella sticks appetizer was good. No complaints there. But the burgers and fries were bad. The burgers were barely warm. The fries didn 't even try to inch up to barely. They were cold, plain and simple. We waited a little for the server to come check on us so we could ask for hot fries. We could hear the server yelling at the cook about cold fries. That was a bit unnerving. By the time we got the hot fries (and they were hot), I was already 95% done with my hamburger. Kiddo only ate half of hers because it was barely warm so she didn 't like it. We left a lot of food on the table when we left. It 'll be a long time, if ever, before we go back to this Red Robin
Reeeed Robin yuuummmm... Everything was good. Service, food, and atmosphere. Celebrated my wife's birthday. Her burger was free because of the Red Robin Rewards. Bonus! Molly was an excellent server. Fast, friendly and efficient. Everything you'd want. Kids love the root beer floats and bottomless fries! Next time we're going to try their pizza. Stay safe!
We returned because the pizza and fries are good. The pizza and fries are good ! We decided to try the Fondue to dip our fries. Do NOT order the cheese and bacon fondue! We excepted it to be cheesy like most fondues instead we found it a water cheese mess. Our server was ver pleasant and friendly, the serves was great! I will return for the pizza and fries ONLY Can't recommend but to each their own
This entire experience was just bizarre. I ended up here after trying to go to Coast Main, which is apparently closed on Mondays all of the sudden. When I walked in, I was greeted at the host stand. I was by myself, so I asked to just sit at bar. That gave her a moment of pause, but she led me to the bar, which was completely empty, half dark, and not exclusively staffed. I will say that the two ladies that waited on me were super friendly, but it was just such a weird experience. I ordered a glass of white wine and then went about looking at the menu. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted her pulling a bottle down off of a shelf like she was going to serve it room temp. I interrupted that process and said if it wasn't chilled, I didn't want it and stuck with water, which she gave me. The other server dropped another water too with a comment that she forgot you can get water behind the bar. Weird. They eventually found some chilled wine, but it tasted like it had been opened for way too long and I didn't drink most of it. It wasn't on my bill, though, so I didn't say anything. I ended up ordering the whiskey river chicken wrap. I should have gone with a burger. The chicken wrap came out in about two minutes. I appreciate the speed, but there's no way they could have made fresh chicken in that time. Indeed, it tasted pre cooked and rewarmed, with a soggy texture that really was not appealing at all. In addition, the wrap was clunky and uneven. It was fat and short, and then cut on a bias all of which made it messy to eat. And because of the way it was wrapped, I ended up with uneven bites all chicken in one, all toppings in the next, then a wad of wrap, etc. I ate it because I was hungry, but it wasn't good. The check came out quickly too again, the service, while a little strange overall, was at least friendly and attentive. The pay kiosk things in the bar didn't work, but she took the card for me quickly as well. I'm not sure what is going on there, but it just seemed really unorganized to me.
