My son and my family came from Texas to celebrate my granddaughter's 2nd birthday, so we all went to West Virginia and Pennsylvania. When we were in this restaurant many years ago, we decided to try again. We were not disappointed at food at all. I didn't give 5 stars for a few things. One they accused for water, and after a while, employees came and gave strange views to the table as if they wanted us to finish and go quickly. But I will definitely recommend this place.
This restaurant offers South Indian cuisine in a cozy setting. The prices are a bit high, but the food is tasty. The service is average and they do not provide complimentary tap water; instead, they offer bottled water for a fee without prior notice. The mango milkshake is tasty and the Sambhar is packed with vegetables. The restaurant is conveniently situated near a temple.
Amazing South Indian food compound. It is located on the edge of the hills and every time I was there, it is cloudy and rainy. The hot food gives a good feeling. All dosa, wada, idyllic dishes are great. Prices are affordable and the staff is very friendly.
The Comfort Food Square in Pittsburgh/Monroeville offers authentic South Indian cuisine at a reasonable price. Despite the modest location and appearance of the restaurant, the quality of the food surpasses expectations. Their dosas are generously sized and the mirch bhajji makes for a delicious appetizer.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. I can't wait to go back. We started with a hot chai tea and dosa with delicious sauces. The platter that followed was heavenly, and the garlic naan and aloo gobi were also fantastic. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.
