Golden Palace - Monroeville

Delicious food! This is the first restaurant in the area where I've actually received the heat I requested in my Kung Pao chicken. It could have been a bit spicier, but it was definitely more flavorful than most!

Please be aware that the prices currently charged are significantly higher than those listed on the printed menus at the counter. The owner explained that the menus are actually two years old, predating the pandemic. I was taken aback by the price when it was time to pay for my order. The food was very nice, but buyers should be cautious.

Everything about this place is perfect. Steamed pork dumplings were on point, chicken lo mein and I don't care it was perfect. Your average Boring Americans go to General Tso was also good. This is definitely my go-to when I'm in the area of my house which I'm there quite often, so you know it's my house.

My fiancé and I went here yesterday and at first we were both a little skeptical because it wasn?t very busy. When we saw the prices we thought it was a little expensive especially because it?s not a buffet, HOWEVER... the food was incredible. It was hot, delicious and the servings were so big that we needed boxes for our leftovers. The service was outstanding and the servers were so kind. This place is truly a hidden gem and we plan on coming back very soon!

Love their food. It is never busy, every time I have been there I had the place to myself. Portion sizes are huge and always tastes amazing. Best crab Rangoon ever!!!
