Mugsy's - Monroe

Upon arrival the parking lot was packed with only a few open places, so we thought the waiting time would be terrible, that was not the case. We went in and were told that we went forward and found a place from which there were many tables that were open to us. Our waitress was nice and attentive. We started with the paprika bites and they were pretty delicious! There were actually some of them at the price. I chose the Philly cheese steak with onion rings and my wife got the kicking chicken sandwich with chips. It didn't take long until our food came out and there was enough to fill us. My wife said that her chicken sandwich was delicious and very full, so she only ate half of it. I noticed that her chicken breast covered the entire bungalow, rather than that the bungalow was oversized like most places. My Philly cheese steak was amazing! Compared to other Philly cheese steaks I had in the past, this had a ton of meat on it and the peppers and onions were cooked to perfection! The onion rings I was hot with my meal was also very delicious. Some places where you get onion rings, they are overcooked and way to crispy, but not here! They had the right amount of bread on them and were cooked for the perfect time. I would give this place a fixed 9/10. It would have been 10/10 if they had only coke instead of pepsi. My wife and I agreed that we must come back with our daughter so that she can taste how delicious the food is. And to think that I found this place by looking at my maps for restaurants in the area and reviews like this read. If you are in the area or just looking for a good meal, definitely give them a try!

Burger was great. Good atmosphere. The first time I'm back. Beautiful women come in. can't beat it. Waitstaff was pleasant. Well arrived fast.

Family-friendly resurrection with ingenious food. Lilly was an amazing waitress and so nice. We'll be back.

This is a typical sports bar, but not so many channels on the screens. This casual restaurant and bar has a wide menu with many options. We had the cod sandwich with frits and it was excellent. The fish tasted fresh and was nicely fried. Surprisingly delicious. The service was excellent and friendly. I would recommend Mugsy for a quick lunch or dinner.

My son and I stopped in for lunch today with my one year old grandson. My grandson was a bit fussy when we first arrived and well, you know how that can escalate pretty quickly! The staff was so amazing! They were so kind and helpful. They grabbed us a bowl of mac n cheese really quick and gave him some crackers to occupy him in the meantime before we even ordered our meals! Super nice people. Thank you Mugsys for a great lunch and great service. Our wings and chunks were so good as well! We love our hometown place!
