The atmosphere was pleasant, making it an enjoyable place to start the day. One of the highlights was the ample parking, with a free parking lot just a short walk from the entrance. I would definitely recommend this spot for breakfast!

First, the positives: My wife ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and she found it to be very flavorful and generously topped with bacon. I didn’t get to try it myself because she added ketchup (which I can't stand). On the service side, our server was friendly and genuinely interested in our opinions about the food. When she inquired about the gyro, I had to be truthful—it contained very little meat, and the pita overwhelmed the flavor. Growing up in the Chicago area has spoiled me with gyros that are packed with fresh meat, so I found this one lacking. It was far from what I would consider a proper portion, and even the accompanying fries seemed smaller than what my wife received with her burger. Recommendation: If you decide to visit the Blue Ox, stick with the burgers—they seem to be a solid choice. But I suggest avoiding the gyro, as it definitely wasn’t worth the $11.99 price tag. By the way, the waitress did follow up, and my wife overheard her informing the owner that the gyro was lacking in meat. Kudos to her for being attentive.
