Myitaly - MONOPOLI

As we lived in the town not far from rhis restaurant it was naturally to try it. I can recommended the antipasti mix for two people! It is very variable from the regional foods and tasty as well. We ate raviolli stuffed with spenach and cheese and was amazing. Res wine of the casa was good too.

Lovely atmosphere, very friendly. The menu was excellent and that ‘stuffed pasta’ with spinach and ricotta was so good I had it twice on our two visits! Highly recommend.

We had an awesome dinner with delicious and fresh seafood. The staff was very friendly and explained every meal we wanted to order.

Being a North London woman, quite honestly I’ve had better Italian food there. Set in a beautiful area, we expected good things. The entrecôte was served grey and grim with literally just a few sad grey and grim mushrooms god only knows what it was cooked in left a nasty aftertaste. I’m a good cook and I’ve worked in the meat industry so trust me I know my steak. Told the chef it was not good after eating a mouthful and still had to pay for the privilege. Lovely lady served us though.

If you are looking for a little place away from the tourist tracks but still in old town by the sea this is it. Lovely food, nice service and reasonable rates. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The red wine *Polvanera by Primitivo* was a good choice! We will be back.
