Dettore's Pizza - Monongahela

Good pizza! There is usually a reason a place is in business this long! Cant go wrong eating here! They are now installing a eat in section!!!

This has become my absolute favorite pizza shop! I eat it more often than I probably should but it's fantastic! The thick crust is where it's at! I've never had a wait time over 25 minutes which is perfect. We call and by the time we get in the car and get there it's ready. There only 2 things I can think of that someone may not like... I don't think they deliver but I'd rather go it anyway. And my only actual complaint is the cheese. It seems it doesn't get very evenly distributed. It's thick in the middle and very sparse near the crust sometimes. But again I absolutely love this place and if you live in the Monongahela area and haven't eaten here yet, do yourself a favor and get an XL thick crust pepperoni pizza!

For the most part they have very good food but a few times the service was sub-par and when they did burn my order instead of making a new one they just added even more cheese to 'cover it up '. Also in this day and age how do you not accept credit cards nor have a website?

Pickup in 40 minutes she said; in 60 minutes a small pizza was still in the oven...Gate pizza in the Italian oven instead...Rude old lady... I guess in a little town...???
