The Sportsmans Rest - Monmouthshire

Don't overlook this charming pub. The owners, Tanya and Nikke, have put their heart and soul into restoring this precious establishment. It's important for as many people as possible to support this place and keep it thriving for future generations. Once it's gone, it's gone - let's not allow that to happen!

This small pub was a delightful find. The tea and coffee were excellent, although we unfortunately didn't have the chance to try the food, which all looked delicious. We will definitely be returning in the future.

This cheerful pub has welcoming and helpful staff. It is dog-friendly and perfect for a light lunch during a hot day's walk.

Four of us came here for lunch. All of us extremely happy with our food and the service. We obviously wanted to talk to each other and hear each other with out the usual ear splitting noise in the background the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. Great that this is only a few miles from us, able to visit often

We had the most wonderful roast chicken and roast pork Sunday dinner, with 5 vegetables plus cauli and brocoli cheese, a large yorkshire pud with a lovely ball of stuffing. Plus extra gravy. Just wonderful.
