Beach Tavern Channel Club Marina

My partner and I visit this restaurant frequently because of its convenient location. However, we met some friends there last Friday, and the food was disappointing. My partner ordered the New England clam chowder, which was good but served lukewarm. I tried the lobster bisque, and it was also tepid. I then ordered the burrata salad, as I love burrata and always choose it when it’s on the menu. Unfortunately, what they served seemed more like mozzarella than burrata. The tomatoes were limp, squishy, and there were only a few of them. My friend had fish and chips and barely touched it. Overall, the meal was quite unsatisfactory. I had heard that the restaurant was under new management, and I was hopeful for improvement, but it doesn't seem that way. I think I’ll explore other places for a decent meal moving forward. I don’t usually write reviews, but this experience warranted it. Although it was crowded last Friday night, I had been there twice since Christmas during the week, and it was nearly empty, even at the bar. If they don’t make some changes and improve the quality of the food, I doubt anyone will keep coming back.

The restaurant tends to get a bit noisier as the day goes on, but the food is excellent and the views are stunning. It's definitely worth the visit!

Excellent staff, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere! The oysters were fresh, and the playful vibe added to the experience!

This place has so much charm in winter as in summer. Eating and service is reliable and consistent. the menu has something for everyone.

The service was better than last time! Could be better when the restaurant isn’t full. Love the nightly specials and fish chips were amazing!
