Kfc - Monmouth

I have to admit, I was quite disappointed. I had a discount, so I won't complain about the price, but since they had just opened for the day, I expected fresher food. The fries were cold and tasted stale, the mashed potatoes were okay, but the mayo on the chicken sandwich didn’t look very fresh, and the biscuit was as hard as a rock.

The food was good, but they forgot to bring the gravy for our large order of mashed potatoes.

These new nuggets are fantastic! They seem to be made from real breast meat and are seasoned just like the original recipe chicken. They’re like a budget-friendly version of KFC. Since the actual chicken has become too expensive, these nuggets have been a great alternative to the 8-piece buckets I used to afford. However, they still don’t quite compare to the classic bucket chicken, so now we often order the 2-piece meals instead. The pricing makes it necessary to choose that option over the buckets. If you haven’t noticed, ordering four 2-piece chicken meals is actually cheaper than just getting an 8-piece bucket. The buckets have essentially turned into a luxury menu item. Also, the spicy hot wings are always a hit! It would be great to have a non-spicy option, though, since not everyone in our family enjoys spicy food.

The chicken was dry and not super great.

Fries were delicious but breading was stale.
