I take into account that it may sound unbelievable but I hope for your sake that you will believe me. We stayed 2 nights at Helena's place and then extended our stay for another night, because we couldn't leave this amazing place. the room is accurate to every detail, decorated with unique style. the whole place is extraordinary , the view is amazing, the surrounding villages are dreamy and that it is not just the most amazing thing here. The most amazing thing is the hospitality we received from the owner of the place. I'm afraid to develop expectations but we received ten star hospitality, with amazing surprises in the form of a yoga class, a massage, an amazing dinner and much more. All the food here is locally produced from the surrounding villages, everything is fresh, delicious. I know it sounds like an invited criticism but it's not, really not. We just feel in the sky. Highly recommended.

My wife and I decided to stay here for our honeymoon in June. Helen and her staff did not disappoint. The location is remote, quiet, and truly a getaway experience that is unforgettable. Helen gave us a two day itinerary to explore the island in our rental car. Everyday we had a homemade breakfast that was all locally sourced and fantastic. The resort itself is stunning. The only thing I wished was we stayed a night or two more (we did 3 nights). Helen is an amazing host and really made sure we made the most of our time on Naxos. We stayed at ELaiolithos for 3 nights during our honeymoon and I wish we had more time here! Accommodations we stayed in the Helen of Troy room and it was so beautifully decorated. Every corner of the rooms had something interesting to see and the balcony had the most glorious view of the mountain range. The common area has a gorgeous pool and lounge chairs. The restaurant area has beautiful views and all the decor is curated with beautiful local items and artwork. The space is very peaceful and quiet. My husband would want me to add that he loved the gym which is brand new he used it every day! Food I cannot say enough good things about the food. The breakfast was fresh and filling and we had several lunches and dinners here as well. I think we tried more than half the menu. The ingredients are all locally sourced and you can taste how fresh and crisp the produce was. The local wine was also a favorite of mine, I couldn’t get enough of it! The host Helen explained where each of the ingredients came from (goat cheese from her brother’s farm, olives from the grove across the street, etc. Hospitality Helen and her staff were just incredible. They made us feel like family and we’re always available to us. Helen surprised us with massages and yoga which we loved. She also gave us great recommendations for food and sights. We felt like we got a taste of the beautiful culture of Naxos and we would not have had such an experience without Helen. Location the hotel is situated about 30 minutes from Naxos town and the beaches. We rented a car and drove up. The drive was an adventure on its own. We saw so many beautiful mountains, farms with free range goats, olive trees, the coast line and marble quarries. The location is perfect for a full Naxos experience. We spent time in Halki, Chora and the beaches. Helen recommended a more private beach which we LOVED. You must ask her about it! Thank you so much Helen, Pamela, and Katerina! Just returned home after spending 2 weeks in Greece with my son and daughter-in-law. While in Naxos, we stayed at the ELaiolithos Luxury Retreat Hotel Suites. We chose the Oraia Eleni Suite (gorgeous with a very large balcony furnished with lounges, tables and chairs) for four nights. While each of the five accommodations have a different theme, they are all beautifully furnished and have incredible views of the mountains and villages. Helen, the owner of this gem of a hotel, makes you feel like family from the moment you arrive. If you tell her what you want to do and see, she will help you plan your itinerary. Although we ate out a few times, we enjoyed Helen’s cooking more than anywhere else on the island. Each day, after spending time exploring many of Naxos’ historical sights, beautiful villages and beaches, we looked forward to going back to this special hotel to take a swim in the lovely pool overlooking a view to die for. Breakfast was amazing—crepes, waffles, eggs, omelets, goat cheese yogurt, jams made from local fruits in season—pears, peaches, apricot, citrus, wild cherries (my favorite) are among the many selections. Dinner was a delight. Everything is made from local ingredients. Not only was everything she and the young ladies who helped her prepare meals (salads, meatballs, sausage, vegetables (the fried potatoes were a treat) delicious, the food looked like a work of art when presented. All the food served is organically grown or harvested within a five-mile radius of the hotel. The juice and smoothies are made each day from fruit and vegetables that are in season. Everything is freshly prepared. Sunday night is Greek night. A local musician plays the guitar and sings. The Sunday we were there happened to be Helen’s 14-year-old son’s birthday. We were invited to join the celebration along with his friends, family and other guests. I can’t say enough about the hospitality we experienced. The young ladies who work there, Katarina, Pamela and Andrea, were super nice and attentive. We enjoyed spending time with them. What can I say about Helen—she’s the best! You can’t go wrong staying at ELaiolithos and being spoiled by these women who are so proud of what they have to offer. Do yourself a favor, when in Naxos, take time to enjoy lunch or dinner at this eco-friendly hotel defined by nature, or better yet stay for a couple of nights.
