The Watering Hole Tavern - Monbulk

My experience at this restaurant on Sunday for lunch was fantastic. The staff provided friendly and welcoming service, and the food was exceptional. We opted for the parma of the month which was a generous portion, fresh, and bursting with flavors. The only downside was the dressing on the side salad, but overall it was a great meal. Despite reading some negative reviews, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere and will definitely return.

I visited this restaurant for the first time for a group social night and the smoked salmon pizza was absolutely delicious! I enjoyed it so much that I didn't even bother trying any of the other options on the menu. I was surprised to read some negative reviews about the food, but I had a great experience and plan on returning with my family for a night out. The service was a bit slow, but the staff was friendly and accommodating.

My family and I went out for dinner at this local restaurant and we had a great time. The food was delicious and everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. The portions were very generous, so we couldn't finish everything. We went on a Monday night, which was a pleasant surprise because kids eat for free on that day. We will definitely be returning in the future.

I really like the venue. Spacious. Country. Not too loud. The beer garden is lovely too. Service is friendly but not always fast. The food servings are generous and moderately priced. It's what you expect to pay at most pubs but a lot better than you'd expect to eat! The lamb pizza is excellent and the chips are extremely well cooked.

Been here twice with the missus, had a very enjoyable meal both times. Great pub food, with a bit more variety than your standard pub, and with great ingredients! Price is pretty much where you'd expect it to be, we spend about $80.00 for mains and a few pints, the service is great lots of warm friendly staff, with swift delivery. Of special note are their woodfire pizzas very filling, very fresh and you can't beat cooking with wood for a pizza! Great with a pint of speckled!
