Monahans Jazz Cafe

I couldn't call to place my takeout order because their phones were down, so I went to the restaurant in person. The food was served quickly, despite how busy the staff appeared to be. They were friendly and attentive to all customers. Although a bit pricey, the food and service were excellent overall.

The interior of the restaurant was pleasant. The food was delicious and the service was quick.

I didn't know what to expect when I rolled in here for lunch. A jazz café in Monahans? I was skeptical and to deteriorate things, I didn't assume the food was good. I was surprised. The service was consistently good, the food is at the point for the price they charge. I was here half a dozen times and didn't even have a bad experience. I was only at lunch hour and every time they are fast, they are efficient and I get to consider my food in a reasonable amount of time. After I tried another place around the corner and was incredibly disappointed by them (the Italian place), I will come back from now on. And they don't overload me for my food. It's hard to argue. I hope it helps someone.

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant at 6:00 on a Friday night. I had heard great things about it from reviews. The restaurant itself is very appealing and the women's restroom was impeccable and nicely decorated. Despite being busy with private parties, our service was still very good. And then came the food! I can only describe it in one word - delicious! Both the country steak and rib eye were exceptional, and the country gravy was particularly amazing. We live in Tucson, AZ so we probably won't be able to visit again soon, but if we find ourselves in this area again, we will definitely make a point to dine here once more.

We ate here last night it was so good! We can’t wait until we go back! Best chicken fried steak I have ever had gravy was awesome. Loved the mash potatoes fried zucchini strips as well! Keep up the good work Monahans needs you!
