The Black Horse - Mole Valley

I have eaten many paints in black horse in hookwood, but this time was very disappointed. there was nothing wrong with eating, the problem was the service. on a Saturday night, there were only 2 employees. if it is a pub with a large garden in the open as well as an L-shaped dining area, is not enough. a worker was experienced, but obviously worked out from another pub. we sat pretty fast and distributed menus, but were not asked if we like a drink. we waited more than 10 minutes before my friend went to the bar to ask if we could order drinks. our order was taken over at the same time. our common starter was served, but if we wanted to order another drink, we couldn't get the attention of the waitress so we had to go up again and ask for our drink order. the main course was served, but there was an article missing and it was obvious that it was forgotten to be ordered as the waitress had disappeared until she came back with the article. our eating was nice and it was hot so no complaining about eating only the service. the waitress was busy and she didn't seem to stop, but she wasn't aware in the position that she was focused on the table that she was not serving to check how all the other tables did so that she couldn't get her attention when she didn't look at us at another table. with a pub like the black horse with small corners and tables spreading out the employees need to check on all customers, even if there is a quick look as the next table is served. I am not sure if this is something that comes with experience, but it was certainly missing this day

They have eaten here before they stay close to a hotel. really good steak fries, although you were less than medium. I didn't have all puddings, but what we had was good. all fresh and delicious. friendly service, cheap. it was pretty busy.

Excellent meal for the first night of our holiday before we fly tomorrow. the food was nice. good price, good quality and very tasty the service was excellent. friendly, fast, professional. the young people who served us were brilliant. many thanks.

I just sunk for fast unplanned eating. they really looked after us. the staff was great, friendly and professional. Eating was also ok, not from this world, but good value and pleasant enough.

Beautiful place and great eating! loves the small playground in the garden much space and my daughter loves it! great table service and the kids burger great value for money more like a adult burger my daughter loved it! and additionally bonus for garden heating for the evening!
