I have never eat so dry a pizza before ! It was like rusk! needed also cheese .. Low quality . Last time for me here , sorry !
Picked this place as it looks nice and is reasonably priced. What a joke, I ordered spaghetti carbonara, which came in what can only be described as a bowl full of cream, literally just poured right in there, carbonara soup more like. My other half however ordered tuna pizza, within his first few bites he was beetroot red and looked like he was having some kind of reaction, I tasted the pizza and instantly my mouth was hot and itchy, I knew instantly something was wrong, I have a few food allergies and I put my reaction down to that, not that I’ve any idea what I would have reacted to on a tuna pizza. My partner however, just got redder and redder, he’s never reacted in any way to food before. I was getting quite concerned by his reaction, he did say his mouth was tingling, it’s a tuna pizza not a spicy one. Needless to say he did not finish the pizza, we relayed our concerns about the pizza and my crappy carbonara soup to the waiter and he just didn’t give a toss. We left and my partner ended up being sick when we got back to the apartment, he had something called Stromboli’s poisioning, it presents as an allergy (which is why I found the reaction similar) but in fact it’s from the poor refrigeration of fish, and it’s to do with the toxins that are subsequently produced. If your going to eat here tread carefully. Overall a terrible experience, one of our worst ever.
Great value set menu. The sirloin was tasty but a tad chewy. Garlic prawns were superb though. Good varied menus. Definitely recommend it.
