The menu was stained, the salt and pepper shakers on the table were stained, and the chairs were spotted. Not what one would expect from a restaurant like this. The empty water bottle was cleared away, but we weren't asked if we needed a new one. However, the food was good. I would recommend it to friends with a caveat that it doesn't quite live up to its promises.
The napkin on which the cola glass was placed had red wine stains, making it look like a cleaning cloth. The Altbier was clearly over 10°C. Since it should come from the cooler, I hope there is a separate cooler for food. Even when asked, there was no cold Altbier available. Before pouring myself an Altbier, I also poured the water from rinsing the beer glass into the water glass. The draft beer was then cold and tasty as it should be. Whether waiting 30 minutes for the appetizer is too much is debatable. There were also a few minor issues that would not have been noticed without affecting the overall impression. The food was very good. The espresso was also excellent, as it came to the table hot due to the well-heated cup, which is unfortunately rare.
Very nice place with a warm atmosphere, good food and friendly service!highly recomended! Another advantage: good location 30 minutes from Dusseldorf center and close to Holland. in the summer season there is also a cosy terracy!
The Hotel Rosenmeer is worth a culinary delight and every trip because of the gigantic cuisine. The rooms are stylishly elegant, in the beds you sleep like in the seventh sky, an absolutely hot tip for high quality pleasure. We were there for business (musical performance for birthday party Grünewald) and will definitely repeat it privately this year.
