After about 18 minutes, our food was ready. Although I was a bit frustrated by the wait, the food was hot and fresh. The staff seemed very busy, so the wait was understandable. I have been coming to this restaurant for the past few years and the food has always been great. It is consistently delicious, hot, and fresh with high quality. However, I have noticed that the prices have gradually increased and it seems to happen annually. The restaurant has also become more popular, especially on weekends, leading to longer wait times. They have a drive-thru and a dining area. The prices listed online are not accurate, so I have attached a picture of the menu.
I visited this hidden gem today and was very happy with my experience. I ordered the 2-pupusas plate, which came with slaw, sauce, rice, and beans. My pupusas were filled with chicharron and cheese. The portions were decent and the aromas were fantastic. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and I will definitely return to try something else.
The pupusas at this restaurant are always delicious. Our favorite dishes are the chicharon con queso and queso pupusas. I would give them an extra star if they improved their curtido - it's not as flavorful and fresh as it could be.
The Pupusas lacked flavor and were unappetizingly soggy. I ordered the Asada and cheese, pork and cheese, and chorizo and potato pupusas, but they all fell short of expectations. While they were a decent size, their taste was lacking. The highlight of my meal was the salsa and the Cola Champagne (a Salvadorian soda).
The pupusas were subpar this time, lacking flavor and filling. They were also missing the staple condiment, slaw. Overall, very disappointing. However, the pasteles were enjoyable.
