Altos (formerly Mexicali Grill)

We wanted to go to dinner during the time of covid. no easy task. we drove from several restaurants with seating outdoors. their tables were too close together or sat in the direct sun. then we drove past mexicali, and no one sat at their exterior. So we decided to give them a chance. we are so glad we made it! my wife had an salate and loved him. I had made chicken enchiladas with all white meats. they were very tasteful and we had an outside table for us. bottom line if they want to keep an excellent Mexican food. they can sit outside or take the food to go.

Love you eating. ceasar salad with shrimp. also love their garnel tacos. even their chips are fantastic! friendly staff, pretty quick service.

Very disappointed. Usually has good food. Bought 2 Baja Lachs Burritos and spent $25 bringing her home and my husband said where is the salmon. I ate mine for the same result. Very little salmon?.

I'm going here at least once the week. addicted, lol. I'm gluten-free and eat clean, so sometimes it's not easy to find a healthy restaurant that tastes good. it's like eating Mexican, cleaned. healthy and fresh. love, love this place!

Honestly there 's a first time for everything I guess. So I had the Mexicali burrito and truth be told it was full of flavor everything inside it was good except for one thing. It was cold. I 'm not sure if that 's normal for this place but hey I 've always said to friends and family the best burritos are so good even when they 're cold I would like to have had a hot one though for my first experience. I wasn 't expecting that but at least it was good. Staff was friendly and the place was completely empty so can 't tell how well they really do.
