We had a long weekend in Modena and ate at this restaurant one night. We chose it because it is a seafood restaurant. We booked in the afternoon for a table in the evening. The proprietor made clear that they only serve fish dishes. At dinner it transpired that the restaurant is run by an elderly couple. Without wanting to be rude, the running of the restaurant appeared to be in a state of disharmony. They were not very personable either between themselves nor towards customers. A couple who came in without a reservation were turned away quite rudely when they were informed that this is exclusively a fish restaurant. However the redeeming feature was the food. We had starters and main courses. We have to say that everything was incredibly fresh, appetising and perfectly cooked. We had a very nice bottle of wine which was not over expensive. You couldn’t fault what they served for us, it was all to a very good standard.

A large restaurant of other times: kitchen and service are decidedly 90 years old, but the quality is indisputably excellent. recommended for lovers of fresh fish without frizzi and lazzi.

We ate the most delicious grilled fish we ate in modena. it was incredible even in the risotto. grqzie to all. We'll be back again.
