Service at first was very slow, but in recent times the owner has hired another staff member to help front of house so service is significantly faster. Try to avoid coming to the restaurant on special occasions such as Ramadan where many Muslims will go here to break their fast. Owners are friendly, speak multiple languages (English, Chinese, Iranian, etc) and the place has a very homey feeling to it. Overall it is definitely worth going to because the food is delicious despite the sometimes slow service, but they are improving. This is by far the best Uygur restaurant in Adelaide.
Ordered the kebab and lamb with bread. Asked the chef to swap the bread with noodles. Serving is quick. Food was delicious. Lamb was tender falling off the bone. Good serving size. Kebabs were a delight. Traveled 30km to eat here as I am going through a Ugyhur cuisine phase and was not disappointing at all. Will come again! weekly must have and go to eat.
Went in to get take away..wanted some dumplings..sorry none today..ordered something else..80 minutes later!!! got the food...very poor had to add extra flavour when i got home ,was good before but now a disaster
Casual , not fancy place; home style food, excellent quality and generous serve for the price you pay. Not expensive at all. i would recommend take away option.
The reviews here say it all. Behind the shopfront is a small but nice diner. Hidden gem. Low price, generous serving, authentic flavour. You like spicy? Go for it and be brave. Language barrier is a factor, but the service is friendly all the same so be patient. You won't regret it. I'm so close to giving this place a 4... But sometimes you wait for quite a while for dinner (40 mins once - usually about 20). Try some of the odd looking imported drinks in the fridge out the front while you wait.
