Modbury Pizza Bar

Bought a takeaway pizza here in April last year and it was fabulous. Returned to South Australia for work this week and visited Modbury Pizza Bar once again. The original owner was behind the counter, but the pizza was just a good as I remembered it. Mexican pizza with mushrooms. Paid a little more than last year. $10.95 versus $6.95 but was equally as tasty. Outside appearance nothing special, but the pizza's are. Would happy visit again when next in Modbury for work.

This Pizza outlet has a good selection of Pizza at a very reasonable price. The shop is not high tech and not lavished with fancy surroundings but it does produce good Pizza at affordable prices. The range of sizes starts at small and goes to Party size with the ability to cater for special functions. The owner works there with one other staff member and they have extra staff doing deliveries up to 5 Kms from the shop. If you go in for a try, just tell them that Hot Rod recommended them.

Called in on a Friday night after work. I don't know the owners name, but he was congenial and made me an amazing pizza. I ordered the Mexican with mushrooms and more chilli. It was the best pizza I have tasted. The shop is just getting back on its feet, but for $6.90 for a small- it's a bargain and it was utterly delicious. A must if you are in the area.

We were visiting 'town' from the country today to make Boo a build a bear in the Tea Tree Plaza complex and we were going to get lunch in there.
