The Harbor Room At Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza

BOTTOM LINE: Great experience here! Will likely stay again! LOCATION: Great location in downtown mobile. We could easily walk to various restaurants/bars. PARKING: Valet parking is available. We used the self-parking option (with in-and-out privileges). The garage is attached to the hotel. The only downside is that not all of the elevators in the garage were working...so we had to walk a little further and down a couple ramps to actually enter the hotel. ROOM/AMENITIES: The room was great! No complaints. There was a mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room. No microwaves, but they are available by request on a first-come first-serve basis. I workout regularly, so of course I had to check out the gym. It was just ok...much to be desired, but there was enough to get a decent workout in. Several cardio machines, a few weight training machines, a rack of dumbbells, and a couple benches. The pool area (which is near the gym) was closed for renovations, but it looks like it would be a great place to hang out once the renovations are complete. FOOD: There is a small market/cafe on the lobby level that sells coffee, pastries, and some breakfast sandwiches. they also had some grab and go items like salads and cold lunchmeat sandwiches. I had an egg white breakfast sandwich that was pretty good. I just wish there were more options. The restaurant on-site (Fathoms) is near the checkin counter. We stopped there to get some food after coming in from having a few drinks at a bar across the street. I ordered one of the flatbreads and it was delicious!

This was an amazing hotel with great views! The customer service was excellent, the accommodations were great and the restaurant/bar is so nice with an upscale feel! We loved the upstairs patio pool and tennis court! This place is a beautiful gem. Going back for Mardi Gras in February and I can't wait!!!!

Rarely review a hotel very clean, and above all very kind staff. Forgot my toothpaste and they had some on hand. Convenient to downtown Mobile. Not necessarily a business hotel given at 0600 nothing open for coffee and or staff to be found to check out.

Amazing place to have a company conference. The place has been completely remodeled and is beautiful. The food is absolutely wonderful. The staff are so friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure our company event ran smoothly. Veronika Wally helped coordinate my event and she was so patient with all of the changes that were made right up to the day we showed up. The video equipment was top of the line and never caused any issues. We will definitely be back again.

Great hotel. Staff was very nice. We were very impressed with the valet service. They have a shop inside with basic goods if you forgot anything and it has snacks and drinks.
