Good food, but we felt less than welcome when the hostess dropped the menu on the stand table and without asking if it was good for us. we wanted to sit on a table, so I picked up the menu and asked for a table. another waitress told us wherever we wanted. the rest of our visit was a good, fast service, the attention to our drinks and was given a carry-through package when we ask. we have eaten in el vaquero and will certainly dine there again.

Big menu, plentiful serving sizes, wait time is minimal, food is very decent. The restaurant is a part of the same building for the motel, and you have to use the restroom for the motel since the restaurant doesn't have one. Restrooms are absolutely terrible. Avoid using them.

The food was good, the server was very attentive and super courteous. I would most definitely recommend to anyone who loves Mexican food. I got the Beef taco salad and it was so good that I stuffed myself and still had alot of food left over.

Top notch food and service at an affordable price! Every single time we visit, our food is fresh, hot, and fast! If you like a Chili Rellano then you will LOVE theirs. Best I ever had...nothing compares. LOVE this place! LOVE everything about it!

Great food and fantastic staff! We always enjoy our visits to El Vaquero. Be prepared for a wait if you go on a Sunday, but they are quick to get you a table. The food is also served surprisingly fast! Perfect for lunch!
