Tokyo - Mmotwaneng

I wasn't expecting much from a 10€ sushi buffet, but this was worse than I expected. The rice in the sushi was mushy and stuck together in a weird texture, much like it is if you buy it from a grocery store in the US. It made me wonder how recently the rolls had been prepared. There were a lot of strange sushi combinations, but nothing was labeled, so I accidentally picked up some rolls I would not have taken if I had known what was inside. For example, there was one topped with peanut butter, one stuffed with hot dog, and one stuffed with carrots peas and corn. The restaurant was extremely crowded, and the tables were very close together, so I was constantly bumping into people and getting bumped into. One star is for the non sushi stuff Including some perfectly fried shrimp and mushroom egg rolls. Another star for the friendly wait staff. Btw, this place is packed with locals in case you are the sort of tourist who loves that.

We went here bc we accidentally took the Funicular, and wanted sushi. An all-you-can-eat place with almost no signage on the many different (and strange) rolls, everything was incredibly mediocre except the jello and fried noodles (but how hard is it to mess those up)? Women's restroom was also missing it's toilet seat. You can do better for sushi in Porto!!

If you have a sushi craving, this is a great budget spot. Don't expect mind blowing, exotic sushi, it is simple sushi rolls with some Chinese food as well. The price is great and there is a lot of variety. They have these very yummy fried bananas that were great, the lo mein was awesome, and some great rolls! See the pictures

With all the wonders of Porto food, I ended up eating at a sushi buffet. And you know what? It was very good. Definitely as good as it gets. Escorted to a table as soon as I entered, I made my first of three passes at the sushi buffet immediately. There 's nothing particularly mind-blowing up there, but they do a good job with keeping the buffet line very clean and very well stocked. As good as any sushi buffet as I 've seen in the States for sure. Salmon, shrimp, whitefish and a long line of maki rolls in some interesting combinations. Some raw, some cooked, some fried. It 's just fine. There is also a brief setup of hot food that I mostly skipped. Some noodles, some chicken in sauce, that sort of thing. Finally, a bunker of ice cream but I 'd already eaten my fill by that point. Hard to go wrong with this much food that was good quality and at a great price. I enjoyed it for sure!
