King Edwards Fried Chicken - Missouri

The place is very dirty. The chicken tastes like old fryer grease and doesn’t have any other seasoning. The fries I saw were pulled out of the fryer right before being given to us and while they were hot they tasted very stale. The Mac and cheese is Kraft Mac n cheese. I was really surprised I had heard good things about this place. Seems like there are a lot of negative reviews lately Update: I’ve gotten sick from eating here

The one in Crestwood is 100% better. Every time you call this one they ask you what time you're picking up and no matter what eta I've given the food is never ready, this would be understandable if they made the chicken fresh to order but it's sitting under a heater and you have to wait when you come at the time you gave idk why they ask for a time.

Went there because a friend said it was great! Got the 16 piece family meal. Staff screwed my order up! No thighs. Which are my favorite! None. I sat there and watched them send out 2,16 piece chicken. The girl that was in charge knew they screwed up but didn't say anything to me! I spent 60 dollars and tipped 20 percent. People talk about how good this chicken they have more backs than anything. Never buy this chicken again.
