Cafe Trio - Missouri

Great atmosphere, food and drinks are delicious. Lots of choices, Salmon with angel hair never disappoints. Espresso martini’s or blondies are some go to drinks. Staff are all friendly! During the holidays, there are lots of amazing decorations that create a fun atmosphere. Good place for dates or group outings with friends!

Went here for a late Christmas celebration. The decor and atmosphere were amazing. Also, the food is some of the best I’ve had in Kansas City. I has the Mac Daddy (closest in photo), someone else ordered the short ribs (other dish pictured), and the last person ordered the pork chop. All of them were seasoned well, hot, and packed with flavor. Signature Martinis are all $7 on Wednesday’s so that’s a plus too. Four stars only because service was pretty slow, but our wait staff was very kind.

Be careful if you are making a reservation on Open Table for this restaurant The Cafe Trio in Kansas City!! I made one online for my birthday. When I called the restaurant to let them know I would be a few minutes late they did not have my name on the reservation list. I stated that I had a confirmation email and then the hostess told me to look at it. We LOVE the atmosphere here, especially during their themed months. They have wonderful live piano music and the absolute best mac and cheese you could ask for.

Worst place I've ever spent New Year's Eve! The piano ie. live entertainment was annoying and the food was by far the most terrible thing I've eaten in a long time. I do not recommend this place to anyone!
