Chettinad Indian Cuisine

We ordered garlic naan (which was generously topped with garlic and cilantro), chicken biryani (I loved the addition of roasted cashews), chicken tikka masala (it had the perfect level of tartness), and shrimp curry (which was a delightful surprise). Every dish we tried was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!

I absolutely love the chicken Tikka Masala, rice, and garlic Naan! We always place a pick-up order, and the food remains nice and hot until we get home!

I visited this restaurant again yesterday, marking my second experience there since my first visit was before the pandemic. I felt compelled to share my thoughts. From the moment my family and I arrived for lunch, the service was outstanding. The host greeted us warmly, and the food was absolutely fantastic! I’ve heard that they are closing for dinner, which is disappointing because it would have been great to have that option. However, I understand the restaurant's decision. I’m looking forward to returning in the future. It’s definitely one of the best South Indian restaurants in Houston!

The food and service here is amazing and top quality. It is affordable and overall great for catering. We really enjoyed it, definitely back soon!

I've been here when it was a dine-in restaurant which had an awesome Kerala lunch buffet on Sundays. Now, the establishment has switched to takeout and catering only. Bit of a bummer as the buffet had items not on the current menu. As for the takeout menu, I'd recommend the lemon rice, chicken 65, biryani, goat curry, vegetable chettinad, and fish molee. Chettinad is a local go-to for quick Kerala takeout. The flavor has lessened of late so I'd suggest asking to kick up the spice level to compensate. I'll edit this after trying more items worth writing about.
