Red Bird - Montana - Missoula

It was great to meet laura and we had a great time! meagan our waitress was great and so friendly!

We will miss red bird, visit our restaurant for special occasions or just come together with friends.

Good food. Great service. Interesting decor. Definitely on my list of favorite restaurants in Missoula.

We started our meal with the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes. These were not what we would consider full of jumbo lump crab meat and they were overcooked. We would not recommend them nor order them again. Our main dishes were the Grilled Pork Chop and the Chicken Piccata. The Grilled Pork Chop dish was very good and the green curry sauce made the dish. The Chicken Piccata itself tasted good but was too small of a serving of chicken. Especially considering it was a bone-in chicken. The kale served with it was not good at all. The Spatzel was unique to try but not something I would want again. Overall I was still hungry when I was done with the dish which is not a good sign for the cost. My partner would have liked another beverage off the menu and I would have liked to order dessert but the service was so slow that neither happened. The atmosphere is very nice. The lighting is very nice. Not too bright or too dark. It is not loud. You can easily converse with your party and not be bothered by others around you.

Good food, outstanding ambiance and you can actually converse without shouting over a din.
