I love this being a small, family-run restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and is one of the best waiters I ever had! But my food came cold and my husband came out hot. We also ordered garlic green beans that were so bad I couldn't eat it. It looks like it was only poured can beans on a plate with some sauce on top. Overall, I won't eat here again. At the same time I appreciated the surroundings of the restaurant and how nice the staff was!
I had a very good tofu stir fry for just $10 a plate for exactly the right amount of food. It wasn't too greasy as some stirring frit could be elsewhere like Noodle Express. The flavors were good, and it was fresh with the kitchen made in clear view, so a person can actually observe how fresh it is. This place is located next to many other vegan friendly restaurants in the city. I go back for a cheap, fast asian iron fry meal, and you should also try. Updated by previous review on 2019-12-08
We were quite disappointed here. The portions were tiny and the vegetables were not fresh. Yes, there were vegan and vegetarian options, but nothing was really worth what we paid. Skip this and drive to Iza.
The chef at this restaurant is truly amazing, creating incredible dishes. I decided to stop while on my way back to Washington in search of a place to eat, and stumbled upon this hidden gem.
