This place pretty much makes food you can at home, and charges you a decent price for what it serves (such was my experience the first time). There was nothing special about this place, apart from the fact that it served halal, which worked in my Muslim friends' favour. I personally would've gone to KFC for their zinger burger. The second time I went, the zinger burger was very cold from the inside. At first I was surprised how quickly the burger was ready but my first bite into the burger made it very evident as to how. I'm pretty sure they took leftover burgers from the previous night and just threw it on the grill to warm it up, but it obviously did not work. The chicken roll was decent at best. The only good part about this place is the fries which are Costco fries. Also, the image used on this page for the restaurant (if you can call it that), is a false one. I would avoid this place like the plague.
I was here to try their Philly Cheese steak and Zinger burger. Alas, they were out of log buns; so I went for their daily special which was regular burger. The zinger burger was crispy and nicely done. Whereas, the burger itself tasted well but there was much going on in terms of toppings (i think that's how they save on daily special).Service was quick and it was not a long wait.Over all good experience and this place is Halal per their signs!
Place is not very clean, however. delicious food, affordable price. will defiantly go there again. They have the best Zinger Burger in town
Last night I was on my way home from work (around 9:30 p.m.) and was craving middle-eastern food. After passing about five restaurants that were all closed I passed a place called second grill and it looked like it was opened so I turned around to check it out. I was glad to see that they has Indian food so I went in. The lady that was working at the counter was friendly, I was looking at the menu on the wall behind her and I told her that I had never been there before so she handed me a menu so I could take my time to look at it. I wasn't sure what everything was so I asked her what the Chicken Boti roll was she explained it to me so I ordered one as well as a Chicken Biryani. Well the Chicken Biryani was ok but I've had a lot better. The chicken its self tasted really good it was moist and the flavor was good but the rice was too dry and didn't have too much flavor. As for the Chicked Boti roll though it was REALLY GOOD! I will definately be going back for one of those again. Prices were really good as well.
First halal burgers and bun kababs. love to go there, service is a bit slow, though. And take-out is better.
