Mom's Recipe Chicken - Mississauga

I was disappointed with this restaurant. The owner was not honest with us. We ordered a salt-baked chicken to go, but when we got home, we realized it was just a boiled chicken and it was missing pieces. This was not a misunderstanding, as he spoke to us in Cantonese and we had a conversation in the same language. If he had told us the baked chicken was not available, we would have chosen something else. The issue was not the price discrepancy on the take-out menu, but rather the lack of honesty. Because of this, we will not be returning as regular customers.

This restaurant in Mississauga serves the best chicken dish. The value for money is unmatched compared to other restaurants. It is highly recommended, especially for those who may think that Hainan chicken should be served hot, as it is traditionally served cold. The flavor of Hainan chicken is in the rice, not the chicken itself. Customers appreciate the knowledge of the staff about the dishes they order. I highly recommend trying the fragrant chicken dish at this restaurant.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was obviously spoiled and had a foul odor, as if it had been left out for days. The management was very poor, as they tried to deceive customers with pricing errors. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I don't know how this restaurant is up to 4 stars rating, maybe it was ratings, it's opened around 12.30 clock with a man running, but it has nothing ready like hot water, suppe and something else, we ordered hainan chicken rice and sweet and sour ananas swam. the chicken was terrible, it wasn't hot at all, suppe was just lukewarm. I do not recommend this restaurant.

I visited Mom's Recipe Chicken recently in the Mississauga Chinatown Plaza to sample some of their chicken creations I have heard recently.Whether it is Soy Sauce Chicken or Hainanese Chicken on Rice, this place has dedicated themselves to solely chicken. However, my experience was a bit hit or miss.I ordered a box of their Shredded Chicken for dinner and I was a tad disappointed of how dry the meat was. The flavour was there, but not ever the green onion and ginger sauce could save of how dry the chicken was.The owner was nice and provided great service, however I think I might try another chicken dish to maybe give them another shot.
