While the soup may be slightly pricier compared to other pho establishments, the difference is minimal. A small bowl costs $8.50 as a point of reference, and the portions are on the smaller side. The first two photos show the small size, while the third depicts a large bowl. The last photo shows the small bowl on the right and the large on the left for comparison purposes. Despite the somewhat modest portions, the food remains delicious.
I've been driving by this place for a couple years. It's in a building that was previously two different restaurants that quickly changed over, but Lac Vien has been lasting. It was busy even after the normal lunch rush time, and that can be attributed to the fast service and fresh food. The crispy noodle nest I ordered came out piping hot and very flavorful. The peanut sauce that came with the fresh rolls was perfect, not runny like at some other places. Definitely going back!
I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant just before returning to stage 2 lockdown. The restaurant was clean and spacious, with friendly staff and delicious food. The portion sizes were generous. For more tasty eats, follow me on Instagram @hungrysimo.
The food at this restaurant was superb, with generous portions at a reasonable price in a clean and pleasant environment. The Thai fish curry was particularly outstanding. However, the service could have been improved, especially considering the lack of crowds during the visit.
Possibly the best Vietnamese restaurant in Mississauga. The food is always amazing, taste great, lots of volume and 100% Authentic Vietnamese. I would know since I’m Vietnamese. Reminds me of my mother’s cooking.
