This is my favorite Korean restaurant in mississaugaVery reasonble price and high quality of food.
This is one of the few Korean Chinese restaurants in the area so even if the food here isn't great, you don't have many options.
Meal:Great food at great value! They serve you hot tea right when you come in. My brother said he was in heaven when he ate the black bean noodles. They also do not cheap out on the shrimp/egg fried rice - I had shrimp and egg with every bite! We also ordered bulgogi, and steamed pot stickers which were great as well.Service: Service was great! Always attentive and there when you need them, offered to refill tea at a great time when it was low. Cleared plates too. Atmosphere:It was rather quiet during a Saturday night at around 7 pm, but we didn't think too much of it, as I enjoyed a double date dinner with friends.
I was surprised that there was only one review for Jang Kang. Although I understand we all have different tastes, I personally think this great restaurant must be one of the most undestimated Korean style Chinese restaurant at Missisaga and near Toronto area. It deserves to have more credits for the dishes I have eaten so far, particularly as a Korean style Chinese restaurant. I have ordered the same dishes for last 8 years. So my experience is only about Ja jang myon (Black bean noodle), Jam Pong (Spicy noodle soup) and Tangsu Yuk (Fried Pork with a sweet sauce), Those three dishes are so delicious as much as great Korean style Chinese restaruants in South Korea. Update - I just visited here last week with my family. The same three dishes were still great. Tangsu Yuk (Fried pork with a swee sauce) was the best since I visited here.Jang Kang have special lunch menus: Ja jang myon ($4.99) Tangsu Yuk ($13)It couldn't be better. As usual, it's still a hidden germ.
