A true gift to the hospitality industry and such a pleasure to work with when planning all the details. We couldn't have asked for better communication. The food was perfection. All of our guests raved about the food and how authentic and delicious it was. The serving sizes were fantastic and no one left hungry... In fact, many took home food! (Which was an appreciated touch) Sue helped with serving the event and she was stellar and the owner himself was right in the front lines mingling with my guests, sharing his stories and working his butt off. He truly cares about his business and his customers. We can't say enough about how wonderful our day was and whole heartedly recommend Il Porcellinos for your next event or meal out. Thank you so much.
Celebrated our son’s confirmation yesterday May 11th, 2019 at this most amazing Italian Restaurant!! The proprietors and staff made our day extra special; From the fresh and most delicious food to the ambiance of this cozy and comfortable restaurant; not only did they blow our minds but our party guests as well. So much food... so much fun... so much class! This family run restaurant is a MUST GO!! Whether it’s for lunch, in house event or catering event, I suggest this restaurant to always be the go to! Thank you all for having us and making us feel like family!
Finding myself in the midst of industrial parkland I took the opportunity to find an independent lunch spot. Google helped a bit but I was led to a closed restaurant. Steps away was another Italian spot. First impression was that it looks pretty good. I was ahead of the lunch rush and not all servers had started. A quick glance at the menu and I landed on a meatball sandwich. Regulars started to arrive. My sandwich was filling. Meatballs were tender and flavourful with melted mozzarella cheese inside a crusty Calabrese bun with rapini on the side. (I would have liked a little more of the tomatoes sauce on the sandwich. Then I realized home made soup was being served, my mistake! I should have had some soup (just didn’t see it in the menu . During my stay the owner circulated greeting some regulars and new guests. His passion for his homemade soups was evident and next time I will definitively have some. The cappuccino he brought was excellent, topped with both cinnamon and coco. The best surprise of all was the little ‘home made almond cookie’ that came with it. OMG, perfect sweet little match. This would also be good for those gluten free as there was no flour. Yum. This place also caters and take out was popular during my visit. My parting impression was it’s very good! Worth the drive through industrial park land.
Food bland, service one to be desired if u don’t know italian cuisine then I guess it’s great but this place was definitely a dissatisfaction
Small quaint restaurant. Family run. Fresh pasta. Limited menu but there's something for everyone. Worth a visit
