Guru Lukshmi South Indian Cuisine

I thoroughly enjoyed my dosa at this restaurant and found their menu to have some interesting options. It was very crowded, so I recommend making a reservation to avoid a long wait.

Swanky but busy/crowded sit-down Indian restaurant with booths. Extensive menu with separate Jain section (no garlic or onions, etc. . Lots of vegan dishes including an untraditional but still authentic tofu dosa. Family friendly. Best in the city imho, including Saravana Bhavan. Order the dosa sample platter. You'll get a bunch of different dosas which are all delish. They also use some fresh veggies which is uncommon for this kind of cuisine. Will be back soon.

I will not be returning to Guru Luckshmi due to the menu being almost entirely comprised of Dosas or uthapam, pushy staff who did not accommodate this first-time visitor, limited options for vegans, and prices that did not match the quality of the food.
