El Jefe - Mississauga

My booking worked, I got several confirmations, showed up with my group and the restaurant was closed.

Location is great and loved the puppies on the patio! The staff were super laid back and nice, especially for a Monday. I appreciated their service but was slow yo being the bill. I loved the tacos, but admittedly some of them were far better than the others. Fish tacos were great, but the pork were pretty bad. The chips and guac were stellar though! So ask your server about their favourites before you order! The drinks on the other hand were fantastic! I would go here to drink any time, as just being there is fun. Colourful, outdoor patio and sort of secret room vibe on the inside. Loved it and will probably be back for drinks!

Would not return not worth if food was mediocre menus were wet and soggy

The place is nice, I love that it’s pet friendly!! The service was really on point and attentive to everything.When it comes to food, the taste is really good, but the food is more Tex-Mex than authentic Mexican. (This is coming from a MX family that just moved here)

The ambiance was lovely, the food was fine but the service was extremely slow which resulted in eating cold food. Also it really bothers me when the tip that I like to leave when the wait staff is good, is automatically included on my bill.
