From Doaba (Terry Fox Way) we have provided 75 people for a work meal: Aloo ghobi, Shahee Disc wiper, channa masala, Gurkenrita, Gulab Jamun, Naan and Salad. Each product was tasteful and fresh, not generic at all. You could see and taste the ginger and cumin in Aloo-Ghobi and the cauliflower was not limp or soggy at all. The Channa was very tasteful. I asked the boss/owner (Narendra) later, and he confirmed that he ground his own fresh spice mix for each dish. All in all, I would recommend Doaba for anyone who wants fresh, tasteful, vegetarian Punjabi food.
Been here several times, but especially for their Chole Bhatura, which is quite standard. Portion size and price is good. But their other things, esp their candies and snacks are often stale, but they will always tell you it's fresh when you ask what I find self-service and dishonest. Your business seems to be waiting for catering.
I've been here countless times. The snacks and sweets are really good. Very pleasant. Service is also good.
Visited Doaba on Sunday morning wanting to try Cholle Bhathure. I have not had good experience eating cholle Bhature in GTA. Coming from North India I like street style not Haldiram types) Cholle Bhature and either u end up getting too bland or healthy as they claim) or too oily. However Doaba cholle Bhature happily surprised us. It's still not same as u get in Delhi, but certainly better ones in GTA... They were not oily and were not bland either... Didn't try anything else but this experience has motivated us to try Doaba more will post more feedback as we try... But yeah if someone has any other recommendation for Cholle Bhature, do reply to me
