Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe had gone there for the all you can eat crepes special in early February, ended up just doing Brunch. Our server (the young black girl) was excellent, she was super friendly, attentive and engaging. I ordered the strawberry mango smoothie that was sooo good..I ordered a next one. The goat cheese and spinach wrap was AMAZING..Everything was good actually!! Cora 's will be added to our list of breakfast spots..?Vegetarian options: Lots to choose from..
The waffle was amazing , it was not so sweet just exact sweetness needed!! Their menu is amazing so many mouth watering dishes.Thank you Suzy for such great service.
Me and my friends went for breakfast. Got 3 wraps and eggs Benedict. One of the wraps and the eggs Benedict had hair in it. When I brought up the wrap to the main server named Suzy and pulled the blond hair right it front of her, she said she can’t see it. Then I found a black hair which is very easy to see from the eggs Benedict and Suzy acted very rude since I asked for the manager. She did not apologize and did not try to solve the issue in a professional way. She still wanted us to pay for those meals which doesn’t make any sense.I appreciate the way our server reacted as he removed both meals from our bill (did not get his name).Do not go here if you don’t like expired looking food and the taste of the hair.Update to your response.Let’s not be lying here. View your cameras and I suggest you hire professionals to work at your location. This could have been solved with a simple talk and not lies.We asked for a meal replace initially and you brought it back with blond hair. Me as a customer is allowed to ask for a meal replace if it did not look like in a picture at all and refuse to take it back with the addition of hair.In addition, another black hair was found in another meal. Do not cover up by other customers since first of all, none sat near us, second, my hair is not black. None of our hair was black. Extremely bad and incompetent excuse for a place like this.Suzy is a liar, and lied to you as well. She is rude to customers and also to other servers she’s taking care of.If you have anymore lies to add, I have left my number and you can always call me, I am willing to review the cameras and disprove your response.Attached a photo of a thick and black looking hair in eggs Benedict. Unfortunately for you, your lies with me pulling my hair won't go through as i have extremely fine and light brown hair. You can check your employees and see who owns it.Thanks
Our order, especially my chicken clubhouse was inedible. Burnt bread, plastic cheese, rock hard chicken, seriously wilted, old lettuce and microwaved bacon. Even the potatoes were very oily, rubbery and tasteless. My husband ate his bacon egg sandwich but said that he will never go back to Cora’s. I threw my order out. I called to talk to the manger. She did not apologize or offer any recompense.
Having come back to Canada for the first time in a long while, a friend and I wanted to do brunch. There was a place called Eggstatic that was supposedly the new hot thing. We went to it and there was a thirty minute wait at 11 a.m. For me, when I lived in Toronto more than a decade before, Cora's was the Eggtastic of it's day so I recommended it to my friend and it was less than 10 minutes away. Back in the late 2000's, the lines you saw at Eggstatic were the lines you would see at Cora's. This one was still busy but there were plenty of seats available. I ordered the Theo's Omelette with egg whites, no toast and turkey sausage. Firstly, the coffee, which is unlimited, was good. As was the server, who was attentive and personable. The bad, there was a bunch of them. Firstly I put two pictures in the review, what the food I was hoping to get and what I got. The first thing that my friend and I laughed at was that when I came years ago, they used to pile on the fruit. Here I got a couple of undersized grapes on the vine, a B-grade slice of orange and a thin piece of pineapple. It looked nothing like what was in the picture, no melon, no strawberry, no blueberries.... Secondly the turkey sausage was off, it did not taste right. It had a chemical type of taste to it. I barely ate it. A good homefry should be soft and tender on the inside with a char on the outside. These were cooked all the way through, but they had zero crunch. They were also unsalted as well, which is not how good homefries would be. Finally, the eggs. They weren't bad per se, but as you might be able to see in the picture, the cheese were pooled in the middle, rather than spread out. I asked for hot sauce and they had no sriracha or tobasco. It took them ten minutes to find some old tasting cholula....I guess Canadians don't like spicy foods? My friend did not have much more luck, he ordered a club sandwich and made mention that it tasted old, as if someone had returned an order and it went to him. The quality of this place was once the gold standard. Now, even a low grade Denny's is a better choice, at least you know what to expect there. I lament how bad Cora's had become. If you have any self respect, I suggest waiting the thirty minutes in line for Eggstatic...I heard it's a fantastic brunch place. If it weren't for the server, this place would have gotten one star...I can get good coffee at Tim Hortons.
