Bayview Garden Chinese Cuisine

ATMOSPHERE: Since we were a large group, we were seated in a private room at the front of the restaurant. We had a large round table that could accommodate all of us. The private room made us feel comfortable, and there were a few other tables in the same room. We also had a couch behind us to sit on if we got tired of the chairs. The restaurant was clean, and I liked the soft carpet under my feet. SERVICE: The service was excellent throughout our visit. Various servers came to our table to assist us, clearing away dishes and refilling our tea pots with water and tea. The service was great all around. COST: The total cost for our group of 15 was over $200.00. WOULD YOU RETURN? Definitely! I was impressed by how good the food was and will be sure to recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

My group of 12 came to this restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening. We ordered a total of 8 dishes, which was just enough for us. We enjoyed all the dishes, as they were on the smaller side. Some standout dishes were the steamed oysters, which were delicious, and the scallop steamed rice wrapped in lotus leaf, which was fragrant and tasty. We would definitely come back for those dishes.

The food at this restaurant is excellent, while the service is just okay. I must say, the food and prices are fantastic. We have never had a negative experience with the food and quality. Sometimes there may be a wait, especially if they are busy, but that is to be expected. When it comes to the service, it wouldn't be fair to say it isn't great because English is not the first language for most of the staff. We usually have an easy time ordering and communicating with them. Their menu is similar to other Chinese restaurants, but with their own unique twist. The food is tasty and delicious, and we would definitely recommend it.

The food here is average but pretty good value for what you get. Service can vary significantly depending on the day and who you get. They can be outright rude (especially if you're not Chinese).

We order a meal for 8 people, but actually most of them are just in average, nothing special nor good taste, the fish (river fish not sea fish) is very awful, have the bad taste of river fish. I don't know the price as my relatives treat us, but I will certainly not go there next time, should find a better one next time.
